Miles Away

I still remember the angel I saw that night
The promise she did when moon was bright


To be with me and not to leave
She turned into a butterfly sitting on a leaf



It was a dream of mine
Broken by a new sunshine


I can't forget that morning of the spring
And the cherish expression on my sleepy face it brings


I saw a beautiful butterfly on window pane
It seemed there is something I am going to gain


I got up to get a closer look and went near
But the beautiful flew away having feeling of fear


But she was awesome with colours red green and purple
Adding to the beauty there were lines shades and circles


I saw that beauty sitting on a flower
Seemed like resting to gain more power


I did in hurry and went downstairs
On my ways kicking shoes and chairs


Mom asked it can hurt don't be in hurry
I was out of my mind feeling no worry


She thought I must be hungry and gave me breakfast
But I refused badly , to see the beauty I had to be fast


Wow I was just a few steps away
I was assured to get her anyway


As I moved closer and closer again she flew
That was the moment I saw my naughty crew


They held my hand , and said I have to play
beauty in my mind I thought who are they


They remind me I complete a gang of few
I replied guys I am going to get something new


My eyes on that thing I moved , I thought beauty is the only truth
Moving miles away a sharp gravel reminds dear you are bare foot


I remember what my mumma said , no pain no gain
Moving further I realized there is nothing until I can count as gain


The butterfly was flying from flower to flower
I was restless , moving behind exhausting my power


looking at her miles were just like a step
I was so far that I can't locate on local map


Sometimes closer to me and sometimes far .
my heart was tuning a romantic guitar


I was tired and decided to rest ,saying don't move away please

She came near me like moving away was just a tease


I followed on thorny path without shoes
I felt like I can't take further moves


And there was a time I saw butterfly like never close
So velvete to touch the wings are those


Like never before the weather changed , it was all dark around
With sky full of lightning , and storm moving leaves round and round


Yes it was so real , I was following an angel in dream
Like a small kid having in front his icecream


beauty showed her back and away she moved
I was surprised and can't decide how was her mood


I asked why ? were you the same in my dream ?
Who are you to ask and why I will answer ?


The moment of truth I can't forget
Worst were things once were my best


With the blink of an eye I was all alone
Dusk was there with the longest shadow of a tree


I was lonely and gloomy walking on a barren land
Never ending Tears were falling and soaking in dust and sand


After stepping miles away from where I should be , home was my need
It was hard thinking stepping back , even harder to proceed


lying on ground I was about to curl and die soon
I realized this is not me , god gave me light becoming full moon


With each step , I was remembering my happy days
Promising myself , will never let it happen anyways


my heart was hurt , red was bleeding
Broken into pieces , inside was screaming


Reaching back , with red eyes and a fake smile
pretending like everything was fine 


A warm welcome healed me , not much
But Someone changed my life , and didn't even realized


Still a fear wakes me up everyday at four
Fear  of LOVE I can't Ignore
